Luci sullo sviluppo, le energie rinnovabili come strumento di lotta alla povertà
Il 25 giugno 2009 - dalle ore 10,00 alle ore 13,00 presso il Centro Congressi della Facoltà di Scienze della Comunicazione (via Salaria 113, Roma) si terrà l’incontro del progetto "Luci sullo Sviluppo: le energie rinnovabili come strumento di lotta alla povertà".
Il tema dell‘incontro saranno le energie rinnovabili ed il modo in cui esse, attraverso adeguati processi comunicativi, siano in grado di incrementare i processi di sviluppo. Natascia Palmieri, Responsabile Educazione allo Sviluppo di Ricerca e Cooperazione illustrerà come la collaborazione con le ONG e le istituzioni possano diventare dei fattori propulsivi nell’ ambito di un percorso formativo di studi sullo sviluppo e sulla comunicazione.

The theme of meeting will be renewable energies and the way they, through appropriate communicative, processes are able to increase the development process. Dove va il commercio equo?
Il commercio equo-solidale in Europa va dalla parte giusta? A questa domanda tenterà di rispondere la conferenza internazionale sul commercio equo che si terrà domani presso la sede dell'Unicef in via Palestro alle ore 9:30. La conferenza è promossa dall'AGICES in collaborazione l'associazione Pangea-Nientre Troppo e CTM Altromercato con il sostegno della Commissione europea. Le caratteristiche dei prodotti del commercio equo e i valori che esso porta avanti stanno resistendo alla crisi dei consumi ma è doveroso ricompensare la fiducia dei consumatori con certificazioni e trasparenza da parte delle filiere incrementando ancora di più il lavoro etico condotto in tutti questi anni dalle organizzazioni del commercio equo.

The commerce equitable in Europe it goes from the correct part? Nessuno potrà dire "Io non lo sapevo"
Venerdì 19 giugno presso l’associazione Casale Podere Rosa (http://www.casalepodererosa.org) dalle ore 20:00 in poi si discuterà d’immigrazione e cittadinanza. Protagonisti del dibattito saranno Amnesty International, Carta e Gate2.
Alle 21:30 verrà proiettato il film-documentario “Come un uomo sulla terra”.
Un momento di riflessione e confronto per affrontare la tematica dei respingimenti, questione al centro dell’agenda politica italiana ed europea e dei provvedimenti adottati in merito dalla Libia, paese che non ha adottato tuttora la Convenzione di Ginevra sui diritti umani. Va ricordato che proprio il paese africano è stato in qualche modo delegato dall’Europa ma soprattutto dall’Italia, con la quale ha firmato un accordo da 5 miliardi di euro, per il contenimento del fenomeno dell’immigrazione clandestina, da molti politici ritenuta una minaccia e un fastidio. Inoltre bisogna soffermarsi su un fatto che troppo spesso viene ignorato quando si parla d’immigrazione, quotidianamente nelle cronache si snocciolano dati, tabelle e statistiche ma non ci si domanda mai chi ci sia dietro questi numeri. Le persone, uomini e donne con storie e vite spesso al limite dell’umano, storie di tortura e guerra, storie troppo spesso non ascoltate. Per questo vi invitiamo alla visione del film-documentario prodotto e voluto da Amnesty International.

Terra Futura, il grande meeting eco-sostenibile
Dal 29 al 31 maggio 2009 si svolgerà a Firenze, nella Fortezza Da Basso, la sesta edizione di Terra Futura, un grande evento che raggrupperà convegni, seminari, workshop e mostre per un totale di 160 eventi culturali, incentrati sulla promozione di politiche e pratiche di sostenibilità ambientale. Le associazioni ed organizzazioni rappresentate saranno più di 5000: per questo motivo Terra Futura è senza dubbio uno degli appuntamenti più significativi per il mondo del non-profit, in quanto momento di confronto tra i vari soggetti e di rafforzamento delle reti esistenti. A presiedere i lavori sarà Wolfgang Sachs, illustre sociologo tedesco che ha dedicato la sua vita agli studi su globalizzazione, ambiente e sviluppo.
From 29th until 31st of May in Florence, inside the Fortezza Da Basso, will take place the sixth edition of Terra Futura, a great event which will host congresses, seminars, workshops and expositions, for a total of 160 cultural events, based on the promotion of politics and common practices of environmental sustainability. More than associations and organizations will be represented: for that reason Terra Futura is undoubtedly the most important meeting for the world of non-profit, as a moment of discussion among the involved subjects and the strenghtening of the actual networks. President of the event is Wolfgang Sachs, well-known German sociologist who focused his research on globalization, environment and development.
